​Sustain Tahoe was awarded a grant to produce a passport size “travel-journal” booklet titled The 8 Worlds of Wonder and now seeking a Nevada-based artist to illustrate it.  

• Format: 4" x 5" “passport” booklet (part guide, part journal)
• Purpose: Inspire travelers to notice the unique layers of destinations and jot reflections as they explore. The booklet will be available at visitor centers and resorts.
• Pilot: First (test) print run of 100 copies with a QR code for traveler feedback.

- 8 illustrations for each “world”: Sky, Water, Land, Plants, Wildlife, Community, Culture, Heritage

• - Cover Art
• - 8 light “framing” illustrations to outline journal pages

Seeking an impressionistic, layered, and organic style (watercolor or pastel preferred) that conveys the beauty, motion, and emotion of each world.

Artist specs

• Format: Digital art (preferred), delivered as 300 DPI, CMYK, print-ready PNG or layered PSD files
• Page size: 4" x 5" with 1/8" bleed
• Style: Full-color illustrations with light outlines or soft edges that can blend into text and journal space
• Timeline: Ideally within 4- 6 weeks of selection
• Compensation and Credit: Artist will be acknowledged in the booklet, website, and paid upon project completion
